With new regulations coming down the pipeline and a focus on streamlining processes for Healthcare providers, Healthcare IT solutions are becoming a household name. The most apparent one is Electronic Medical Records (EMR) but will an EMR solution provide all the benefits your practice needs to emerge and stay ahead of the game. Probably not unless you leverage other technologies to gain the maximum value. 

One GREAT way to streamline and improve processes is to invest in a document management system. Whether it is a standalone system or integrated with your EMR, having a document management system provides added benefit to your practice. As we all know, EMR will not eliminate all paper from your practice but having a document management system possibly could.
